John, Garland and I have just read the GUESTBOOK comments and we agree with all; everyone is doing a great job. We are so involved this year since we lost our son, Dean Cooke, January 1, 2004. You may know that Dean has been named as an Honorary Luminary Chairperson by the RFL Committee". We are so proud and overjoyed that he is being remembered along with the other three that has lost their battle with cancer. We know this will be a very moving event for all, especially our family. Relay for Life is an awesome thing to do. My grandmother died of cancer in 2000, so this is close to my heart. Please continue to support ACS. Also, First FWB Church has a Relay team this year--"Christ's Crusaders Against Cancer". H. Williams

When I first did the Relay, it was 2000 and my mom and dad had just passed away from cancer. I was in shock and grieving. I was asked to speak about my situation and was nervous. Doc Adams and Terry Butler made me feel better and I have been in it ever since. I will go every year to honor my mom and dad and all the friends I have known, loved and loss. May God be with us on our journey for a cure! Kim Hernandez
